Over the years, I've written lots of stories, for adults and children.  Some were published; others are still waiting in the wings.  Maybe one day I'll get them all in circulation, though most likely it will only be a few.  I wrote two self published children's novels: Waiting on Jesus and Thirty Two Days to Heaven, also a book and tape set for non native speakers, Speak Perfect English, as well as articles for newspapers and  magazines, including the New York Times, America, St. Anthony Messenger, etc.  One, about a local artist, was picked up by the Associated Press.  After writing a feature article for a local newspaper about a Russian colony, Rova Farms, in Cassville, NJ , I was treated like royalty when I showed up with my husband for a dinner.  That was fun!  I've even received some fan letters, mostly from people who want to write, seeking advice.  I say: just do it!  There's really no secret to it.  Some of us have God-given talent, but no one becomes a writer without working at it. It's not like being a football hero or a championship golfer because age doesn't really matter.  Hopefully, I'll be able to keep writing into my dotage.    By the way, I'm a member of the Catholic Writer's Guild and the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators.
